As a partner at MERJE, John Bosio serves as the Principal In Charge for many of the firm’s large and complex projects. He leads clients to successful solutions by providing expertise in branding, signage & wayfinding, graphic design, and project strategy.
Throughout his 25+ year career, John has helped establish MERJE as an industry expert in Community Wayfinding. With 75 Community Wayfinding programs of experience, he has worked with City Councils, Historical Commissions, Planning Boards, the Department of Transportation, and local community groups. John has also developed environmental graphic design projects for trails, transit, healthcare, corporate, and educational institutions. His projects have included programs for Downtown Dallas, Downtown Phoenix, City of Miami Beach, and the Resort Municipality of Whistler, Canada.
John regularly speaks to professional and community groups about environmental graphic design issues. His speaking engagements have included the American Planning Association, American Institute of Architects, the AIGA Philadelphia Chapter – EXPOSED Lecture Series, and a variety of Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD)-sponsored workshops.
